i just bought the 3 month plan for dat booster and started studying a little. it's my 2nd day on it. i was looking for when to apply for the dat. I saw that it's $630 total 😭😭 I was hoping to take the dat by middle to late august. should i apply for it right now? i'm kinda scared because what if I dont feel ready for it by then?? should i wait to buy it then?

i’m finishing up my sophomore year and i think i took all the major classes needed for the DAT (bio1/2, gen chem 1/2, orgo 1/2, biochem, calculus, statistics), so i think it’s reasonable to take it this summer (before my junior year). but i’m really scared to take the exam this soon. i don’t plan on taking a gap year.
also, how do u even study for the DAT? my friends that are taking the MCAT did content review for months and studied like 6 hours a day over the summer. will i have to lock myself in my room for hours during the summer to study?? and around how many months will it take to study? i’m so so so scared to start studying for the dat 😭😭
