i want to use up all my sick time because my hospital will only pay out half of it when i resign however im worried doing so will be burning a bridge. i want to leave on good terms in case i ever decide to apply for another job in this hospital system. i have about 12 days worth of sick time and a little over a month to use it all. after that i plan on putting in my two weeks notice. is this a bad idea? would it be better to continue working normally and lose out on the money?
