Cleaning an MRI room
Hi! Im a student at a clinic and my mentor and I are very much stumped on how to keep our room clean. The owner has absolutely no interest in providing MR safe cleaning equipment so we wrestle the magnet every time we clean. Im at the point where Im wondering if I can at least scrub the floor before/after the day or something. Any tips on how to clean this tile?
Update: Omg I didnt expect this many replies! Ty for the time. I wanted to address some common things Ive been seeing. Yes, the owner doesnt at all care about safety or keeping up with hygiene for many things not just the MR room. We have asked many times for better cleaning equipment that is MR safe, it gets rejected. We have stated we wont clean the room then out if personal safety and she (owner) has lowkey threatened to fire my mentor in terms of neglecting duties. We live in a very poor, primarily hispanic border city with a terribly high unemployment rate so the owner is very much like "I can replace you easily :)" kinda vibe. She doesnt live here either, she lives in a more expensive, primarily white popular city. So the vibe here is kinda like "dont risk getting fired" Yes everyone is severely underpaid too :(
The reason I posted here is because I know our patients and staff here are neglected and I wanted to help in some way. Which judging by the tips it doesnt seem like theres much we can do other than anonymously report. Unfortunately this city has very very few clinics with MRs so Im also hesitant
