ME AJUDEM COM TEMAAAASSS

Why cops feel so bad when they k*ll a criminal but they are fine sho*ting criminals in a fight?

I'm watching that episode when a criminal get a nurse as a hostage then Nila sho*t him. She gets all upset thinking about it. That happens to Bradford and Nolan as well. They get flashes and nightmares thinking about what they could have done differently...

But then when they are in a sh*oting they just sh*t everyone and don't even think about it! I don't understand the difference between this situations and why they would feel guilty sometimes and other times just don't care at all.

I understand they feel bad about k*lling people but when they are in a gun fight they just assume people they sh*ot didn't die? Genuine question!
