Deli is grilling for the 4th of July weekend and in Ohio temperatures are reaching over 100 degrees with a “feels like” of around 110 due to humidity. My poor assistant manager was out there all day yesterday and then today she started to feel sick so she went home early and I went out and covered for her. Being out there for only 2 hours was insanely hot I don’t know how she did it for a full shift. I was rubbing crushed ice all over my arms just to keep cool lol. Glad I’m off tomorrow because fffffffffffff that 😭 I only pray my AM is also off.

Started working in the bakery as a backup cake decorator and recently higher ups are employing a rule that the cake case has to be filled by 9 am. I clock in at 9 am. So I get bombarded with “are you grabbing these cakes? Do we have cheesecake slices cut? Can you go grab those cupcakes?” As soon as I walk in the department. Ontop of weekends having 20+ cake orders. I was asked if I could work 8-4 but I drive an hour to work everyday and don’t really want to have to wake up at 6 am. Honestly wish I never left the deli which is crazy because I hated it there too but this is a whole new type of stressful.

It’s literally the only site I’ve found to be blocked on the stores wifi, which is somehow really funny to me lmao I like to think they know we complain about them on here.
