I’m getting two ferrets soon and haven’t owned one before. I’ve tried to educate myself the best I can and soon I’ll be volunteering at a ferret rescue just to learn more on their diet/lifestyle. Even though I’m doing this I still would like to hear from actual people about their ferret and issues with them. Like health problems, behavioral issues, finding foods/treats for them,etc. I would greatly appreciate your feedback!!

I’ve been recently thinking about getting a ferret and don’t know what age I should look for. I’ve seen some people say kits are difficult to care for and to train, but I also don’t want to buy a ferret older than 2.5 to 3 years. Because a ferret’s lifespan on average is 8 years
