I already exported my entire Apple Music library onto my Y1, however I didn't bring over any existing playlists. Does anyone know a quick way to either recreate the playlists (on device or PC) or transfer them? Not sure if exporting the playlists on tunemymusic will duplicate the songs.
I received my Y1 a few days ago and have slowly been figuring things out, but naturally I am running into a few questions. I’m using the stock OS as I couldn’t really get Rockbox themes to work. Apologies if this is a lengthy post and contains questions that’ve been asked many times before. Even if you know the answer to just one question I’d greatly appreciate the help. If there is something that I am asking about that is flat out not possible, please let me know! I don’t know if I’m going on a wild goose chase with some of these ‘issues’. Also, if the general fix to most of this is Rockbox, I’m all ears.
I exported my entire Apple Music library and all the songs play perfectly fine, however there are no album track #s. Is there a way in MP3Tag to assign track numbers to all these songs at once, or do I have to do it album by album? (Same ? for genres).
What’s the quickest way to make playlists? I have existing playlists on Apple Music but didn’t export those individually. I’m debating on wiping my music and redoing the transfer with just a few playlists then ‘starting from scratch’ with new albums (I’m going to burn a bunch of my dad’s CDs).
When I select a specific artist I get a list of all their songs. From the little bit of research I’ve done, it doesn’t seem like I can get a list of that artist’s albums instead of songs? I tried the long menu button hold to ‘subdivide by albums’ but that doesn’t always work.
Can you favorite albums or have them pinned somewhere? There’s a few albums that I always go back to and wonder if there’s a quick way to get to those.
Just received my Y1 today and downloaded the 240 version of Rockbox (idk why) and am having issues with almost every theme I download. Can I switch to 360 Rockbox, and if so is it worth it? Still working on importing my music so I don't really care if I have to reset the device.
