Proton plan comparison: proton unlimited with Lumo+ versus workspace premium.
hi, this is the first time posting on reddit for me.
I am using all the included apps in the proton unlimited plan for a couple of months now. really happy with it. As for AI I am using Claude with a paid subscription, works pretty good as well. I am considering switching to Lumo+, because I am trying to support EU tech more and, since I sometimes deal with sensitive information at work, I feel more comfortable with a more private AI provider.
Then I got confused picking Proton plan. Proton Unlimited is 10 eu/month and Lumo+ is also 10eu/month. that makes 20 euro per month total. fine. But then I look at the workspace premium plan, which also includes Lumo, but also significant other perks like 3TB of cloud storage (compared to 500gb) and greatly expanded access to Proton Meet. Both these are nice to haves for me. The price is 20 eu per user per month, so for me alone, 20 eu/month. I read that you don’t have to have a registered company to use this. So, it is a no brainer to go for the Proton Workspace Premium plan right? or am I missing something?
TLDR; Proton Unlimited with Lumo+ combo is 20eu per month together. Proton workspace premium plan is 20 eu per user per month which comes with a bunch of extra perks. It is a no brainer to go for the latter right? am I missing something?
