On our street, trash day is on Monday. Starting on Sunday evening into Monday AM, I have noticed people going through the recycle bin in search of things. I understand that they are looking for bottles/containers to trade in, but the concern is that they then leave the cans open, or worse, drop trash on the road. Is there any recourse to this, or does the city not seem to care?

I have tried to talk to them a couple of times, but they say they dont understand English. I dont want to be rude to them --- but I also would hope they avoid trash on the road. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone had luck with fabric poster printing near UCLA? I cant seem to find any places...and the ones I am finding seem to charge > $100 for a 30x40 or larger. Thanks.

We recently moved to Santa Monica/Sunset Park and its been a bit strange that other people park in front of our home. I understand the reasons and respect them...but we also just need to find parking at times.

Have people converted their yard into a driveway, and how difficult has it been to get the city to approve of this? What is the best way to go about finding out if the city will allow us to do that? Thank you.

(I would like to clarify I understand the streets are public property - this is more about converting a portion of our lot into a driveway. From what I have heard, the city is much more particular about changing the front portion of the home when it comes to permits etc. Thanks in advance).

does anyone know if the dulce Sloan show on Friday night is sold out? they seem to have a waitlist. is there any way people tend to get off the waitlist or is it a lost cause at this point? thanks
