Pixel weather SUCKS!

Hey guys don't get me wrong, i love the pixel weather app. But the accuracy sucks, as you can see in the screenshots. When it is raining outside, it says cloudy, when it's actually cloudy, it says thunderstorm.

Hey Google, we need an explanation!

Today I was updating my father's phone (Samsung Galaxy F06, Rs- 9999) to One UI 8.5, and you know what I've found: "Direct Voicemail" or in your language "Take a Message". Explain to me how Samsung was able to roll out the feature in the same year they announced it, from flagship to budget devices. Given that call screening took 8 years to roll out in India, with a Beta tag and only on the latest Pixel 10 series, please set aside "Take a Message".

Google has a consistency issue! The old font.

As we all know that Google released a font, Google sans flex last year with the material 3 Expressive update. From then the overall Pixel UI are mix of both. I understand that Google uses them with hierarchy but this one annoys me.

The one and only typo remains with the simple non flex font, other than that everything like At a glance, and even now playing has been updated to flex font. It looks a bit off, just doesn't fit with the overall lock screen aesthetic. but hey, it just me nitpicking It might be intentional.

Can Indian Cheif officer switched to shore job in any foreign country? Has anyone done this? Need real experience.

I'm a 4th engineer in the merchant navy, currently sailing with a reputable company. I'm from a small village in Haryana, India. I'll continue sailing till promoted to Chief engineer after that, when I've reached a certain point where I want to prioritise my family, my wife and potential kids. The main goals are:

- Secure a better future and quality education for my children

- Shift to a shore-based job in a country where my family can live with me

- Ideally, live close to the port/workplace to cut commute time

- Wife being able to work there would be a bonus

I am not planning to buy any property in India, so I'm relatively free to make the move without too many ties here.

My questions for people who've actually done this:

Is this really possible?

Thanks.

Google has a CONSISTENCY issue! The Toggle Switch.

Guys I am starting a thread for this kind of design inconsistency. I know I am nitpicking but hey, I'm a visual guy and these things annoy me In the end that's why I bought pixel for the software experience.

Design inconsistency-

As you can see how the same component behaved so differently. In the first half of the video the ON/OFF animation of toggles switch is very bouncy and springy with the shrink effect in the switch (that Circle inside toggle) itself in OFF position. But in the other half Wi-Fi page, the ON/OFF animation is very linear with the no springy or shrink effect.

Android 17 but still hasn't fixed it

I have posted about this same bug 3 months ago, and they still haven't fixed it. Basically, some clocks don't match the current wallpaper colours. Just keep the colour of the previous wallpaper. Restarting the phone fixes them until you change the wallpaper.

Device - Pixel 7
