“Do your research”

While I agree with some conspiracy theories, one absolute gripe I have with them, mainly some of the people, is when you ask them to send you a credible source, and they just hit you with a “do your research!!”

Like, you couldn’t just send me the videos you watched, articles you read? Telling me to “do my research” does not help me understand your point of view

“Making it”

Hi!

So I’ve tried my hand at acting before but I stopped. Have a buddy who’s an actor now and has been doing it seriously for the last few years

He’s really hustling and I admire that, and I told him that he’s technically still a “baby” as an actor, and that as long as he doesn’t give up, and he continues honing his craft, he will definitely make progress and achieve his goals. (I fully support him, I use baby in the sense that he’s been pursuing it for just over 4 years, and that he’s early on and developing his identity as an actor)

On that note, I understand that “making it” as an actor is a hard feat to do, but at the same time, I feel the idea of making it as an actor seems to be kinda subjective.

So my question to you guys is, what do you personally define as making it? Is it getting a role in a marvel movie? A hit netflix show?

Ian screwed up

Ian got himself killed and it’s entirely his fault. Instead of driving to Bear, he should have quit his job at the music store, taken the billion to the casino, and put it all on red. He had the chance to turn it into 2 billion.

Thriller Movie idea

Had Late night thriller movie idea come to my head. Very inspired by Disturbia, Gone Girl, etc

Burnt out PI dealing with cheating spouse, insurance fraud cases

One day, a wife comes into the firm regarding her possible cheating husband. He is reluctantly talked into taking the case by his mentor.

As he starts investigating, it starts normal, but he suspects he may be a serial killer. Uncovers multiple journalists, and other PIs have gone missing years prior, and that the killer had escaped 5 years prior

Twist 1: the wife was in on it too, and they’re revealed to be a pair of serial killers, getting a kick out of luring PIs to investigate a fake case, and killing them, as killing randos got boring. (As they’re psychopaths)

Twist 2: mentor is actually wife’s father, and he is actually a recruiter of victims. The mastermind. The guy on the inside. Feeding his daughter and husband victims
