I have an opossum that spends a decent time in my 1924 exposed Alabama crawl space every morning. There is lattice work around the crawl space but he has clearly found a creative way to enter.

Should I evict my downstairs roommate? I understand they eat bugs (perhaps termites too??) and could be helpful. There isn’t any duct work in the space but plenty of electrical wiring.

This has been part of a fun experiment to add a wireless camera down there. Other animal friends found have been a bird and cat. But the opossum is a regular.
