Geralt doesn't really care for onions
I've been playing The Witcher 2 and ran into this gem. I'd rather have elf than onions too.

Every time this happens I always wonder why Geralt went back to Kaer Morhen and why would he have realistically gone there at this point? Also the Dandelion narration describing what Geralt did afterwards is pretty sad, like he's always out of coin and living hand to mouth or something like that. It's such a discrepancy from the reality of game progression, and in my case Toussaint is still ahead. My plan is to do Blood and Wine next but this is almost telling me to just end the playthrough right here. I know I won't end it here but still, definitely ending it for the day.
Update: After some testing I realized that Dandelion's narration about Geralt is only depressing if you didn't end up with Yen or Triss, which is pretty ridiculous.
I know I am nitpicking deeply here, but why is Shani dressed like she's going mushroom picking at the wedding while Geralt gets hounded constantly by Yen and Triss about putting on a doublet for this occasion or the other? Sadly there are very few mods to change it, they all either change other characters in some way or change all her other outfits into something ridiculous.
I don't think I ever actually made it to the end of this random event before, it is hilarious.
"For Glory! For Radovid!"
This is a more subtle kind of Geralt's sarcasm, yet still gold. And Voorhis' face afterwards, then he decides to ignore it and acts like nothing happened.
More of Geralt's brilliant observations.
I could seriously do this quest over and over again just to hear this particular dialogue choice. (The toxicity / alchemy buffs are from completing 2 previous contracts with actual monsters earlier that same night, I know Mr. Lardass isn't worth it)
