The Boring Middle Milestone
Thanks Monarch for this milestone celebration! It made the boring middle path a little less boring. Now if it incorporated the "we want guac" scale, that would be fun, but I'd also never announce that publicly.

Trying to understand how folxs here use hook and loop accessories. ULA's latest bespoke cicada (8026) drops back mesh panel for two vertical velcro strips and two loops towards the top. It seems like a flexible way to mod the main compartment, but with what... patches?
Please share your theories and implementations, manybaggers!
Klint from The Perfect Bag is "single-handedly" responsible for me ending up with both of these in the sun-bear colorway, so this is more of a little family photo than a versus post.
On the left is the ULA Cicada Muse (22 L) and on the right is the CT Laptop Tote (11 L), both packed with my typical light office carry: 14" laptop, thin jacket, and a tech-ish pouch (Toshi 5L sling, v2).
Unsurprisingly, the tote load only takes up about half of the Muse’s capacity, but I thought it might be helpful to see how that “11 L-ish” kit looks when you drop it into a 22 L backpack versus a slimmer vertical tote. For me the Muse makes more sense when I know I’ll need extra volume or a longer day out, while the CT Tote feels just right for quick office runs.
Now I’m just trying to decide what other bag types I need to add in sun-bear ~ messenger, brief, camera bag, gym bag, dopp kit, chocolate shake? ~ before I have to admit this has turned into a full-on colorway collection... Any suggestions?
