Anyone ever broke their hand? If so, how you do you cope?
Drawing is everything to me. I used to be able to draw for 6+ hours a day, but 6 months ago I got boxer's fracture and now I start feeling pain after drawing for 2 hours. Thankfully I still have the ability to draw well but I have lost hyper-mobility in my pinky finger which is does make me a bit slower. I would have gotten surgery but got screwed over by insurance (shoutout Luigi) And I don't know if it would be a viable option at this point. It has gotten better but I feel like I could have been so much more. Being limited like this is so painful, especially when this was the one fucking thing that made me feel like a human being. The emotional pain is unbearable. Makes me want to end it. (don't post the suicide hotline please lmao) I just want to know if anyone else has dealt with something like this and if so, how have you dealt with it??
