fics with the premise of character A forced to be with C (main ship, endgame) while in love with B

this is a little specific but I’m looking for something where Character A is loudly in love with B, they were going to be together, no doubt about it. Maybe everyone knew that too. But circumstances force A to marry/be with C. C comes into the relationship hopefully, maybe looking forward to falling in love with A. They do too. But there is a lot of angst because of A’s derisiveness towards this sham of a marriage, their heart only belonging to B. He’s never going to love C (and for a good half of it he is devotedly in love with B). I would like A to be hostile to C (for trying to take B’s place but any reason would do). A ofc slowly falls in love with C but it nearly is too late. I’d like C to be kind of a gentle lovable character and for it to be heavy angst too if that’s there. C is in a lot of emotional pain. If there is any fic with this premise pls lmk i would be eternally grateful. Any fandom is fine.

books where one character is forced to be with another (who is eventually endgame) while actively in love with someone else?

Do you ever feel like you’re overfeeding the reader?

I have this thing where i feel like i have to make them see the exact cinema in my head so the descriptions get too persnickety, too many adverbs. I know you should trust the reader but you need to see this micro-expression this character made it’s so good 😔 ahhh what do i do. somebody make the darlings more killable. Is this an OCD-haver thing? If you were someone who used to do this, but don’t anymore, how did you let go?

Fics exploring dracos childhood and relationship to his father?

I would like to read something where it’s a character study of him as a person, especially where he’s not written as whiny or untouchable, but a human. It would be great if it explored themes of toxic masculinity. Just something where he’s complex and can get ugly but it comes from a place of being stuck in the cycle of you, your father who’s this way because of his father, kind of situation. Not particularly looking for it to be a ship fic, but don’t mind that as long as it’s largely a character study.
