($13k) Brides, those of you who did your own makeup, how’d it go?

Look I never where makeup and keep my hair natural but am really having trouble spending $500+ on hair and makeup.

I’ve don’t the math and I can get all good quality products I need for about $300 and then have my bridesmaid who is a makeup expert help with application. (She’s fine with this and has done my makeup before).

So that leaves hair and all I want is a simple half up half down style with my natural hair and my veil.

So if you were me what would you do? Pay the extra couple hundred dollars for a professional or just do it yourself with some help from your bridal party?

($15k) Makeup artist and hairstylist near Columbus, GA

Yall I am struggling hard to find a makeup artist and hairstylist to come to me for my wedding. Most are required 5+ attendant services and I only have 2 bridesmaids.

Plus I have naturally curly hair and medium skin tone and want to find someone who is comfortable with both as I’ve had services go poorly before because they weren’t accustomed to working with that.

So desperately shouting into the void at this point.

How do I accessorize? Specifically necklace and earrings!

Everyone was so sweet when I asked for shoe advice so I decided to come back to ask for advice on accessories now that MY DRESS!!! is in. I’ve never worn a strapless dress before so it feels weird having so much of my chest exposed.

Looking for advice on all the accessories! Necklace, earrings, veil, etc!

Wedding colors are black, Cabernet, and gold!

My engagement ring is white gold and diamond but my wedding bands are yellow gold with black diamonds.
