Guess what DAP this post is about... (difficulty: impossible)

If you guessed the Hiby M500, you'd be correct!

I picked it up during the preorder period, was looking to get a DAP to accompany me to class and the moment I saw it, I went for it. Miku has been a big part of my life ever since I could first form a memory, and is also a huge reason why I am so into music in the first place. I was super stoked to find a DAP that was all about her! So far, no complaints about the DAP! I don't really do much with it other than loading my music and listening, so as long as it can do that, then all is well. Don't mind the dust, I just realized it was there when I checked the photo... it's clean now...

If anyone is wondering, this is the 4G version on the latest firmware. Sadly the battery drain is still kind of there, but not too bad. I rarely lose over 10 percent overnight.

As you can see in the picture, I also have the IEMs (though if I'm being honest, not an IEM tuned to my tastes so I don't use it as much). Very well built and looks awesome even if I didn't really turn out to like the sound of the IEMs without having to EQ it. Wish Hiby had replacement cables in the cyan color as well, but if anybody could match up these IEMs with another cable that would suit the shells in the case the cable craps out, please do suggest!

How has your drawing setup changed over the years? What's your ideal setup?

Thought it was a pretty good question for everyone, so here! I was just curious how everyone's setup for drawing has changed over time, and what their "ideal" setup would be and why, given you had the funds to do so. Or if they're at that stage already, lol. Feel free to share your setup even beyond just your drawing tablet, even programs, your general desktop/mobile setup, or any keypads/misc tools that help your setup work too! And maybe if there was something you regret about your current setup, then that's free to share as well, lmao

For me, I honestly just started out with drawing with a mouse on paint dot net when I was a wee lad. I stuck with drawing with a mouse and going through various programs since then and I've finally landed on Clip Studio Paint to draw. I still use it today, though I started using a screenless tablet (XPPen Deco Pro Gen 2) just to try one out, and I think it's wayyy better than using a mouse. I've also invested in a Tourbox just because it was a bit of a hassle repairing the shortcut remote that came with my tablet every once in a while when the dial started wearing out. I'm pretty happy with my setup as it is, I wouldn't change much about it if I'm being honest, so this would pretty much be my ideal setup! If anything, I'd probably just add in an extra standalone drawing tablet to take with me on the go since I've had moments where I really wanted to draw away from home, but couldn't!

Looking forward to hearing everybody's thoughts!!

<100-150USD recs for first set of headphones? + additional rec for TWS earbuds

Hi there! Been looking to get some recommendations for my first pair of headphones. I've had a handful of IEMs for a while, but I found that they were often a bit fatiguing and painful to my ears after a while, which was unfortunate because I did like them quite a lot.

I'd prefer to keep things around 100 USD, but I can certainly bump up my budget to 150 if there's something great up there. I don't mind buying used ones either. I'm also based in the US, so accessibility shouldn't be too much of an issue to me? I can wait for sales too.

Strictly looking for wired headphones. I'll mainly be using it to listen on a DAP (Hiby M500), and will very likely just be using this at home. I don't mind open or closed back headphones, but leaning towards closed back because of my bassy sound preference. I do prefer a warmer sound (my favorite IEM is the Aful Explorer), as I do have a bit of treble sensitivity. Totally open to EQing if nothing fits the bill quite right.

Something that's comfy for smaller heads is also somewhat of a priority for me.

I might as well get another question out of the way while I'm here. My sibling wanted an option to replace his Sony WF-1000MX5 TWS earbuds because they're pretty much coming to death's door any day now, but didn't want to spend hundreds on another pair. Just something similar to it in sound signature and features under 100USD would be fine. I was thinking about the new Moondrop Pudding, but I wanted to know if anybody else had any other thoughts.

If any other details are needed, feel free to ask me! Thanks a bunch in advance.
