Finally out of diamond as ADC twitch one-trick

I can confidently say I had less than ten games where all 4 of my teammates were not griefing. It took just over 100 games at a final winrate of 60% to get there. This was from a fresh account, so I had to blast through the low ranks. Which is so fun and easy with how silly it is down there.

Diamond is actually crazy town. Players have just enough hands to surprise you occasionally, and most players lack enough hands to hold their mobile device. Thank god for the double mark on S, the 50+ fortitude cards new players get, and galio’s aegis. Burned every card in diamond. Absolutely crazy.

I’ve never struggled to hit master before in other roles. But ADC as twitch one trick is something else.

Anyway, the build was

Lethal tempo, brutal, cut down, alacrity, zombie wards.

Guinsoo>attack speed boots>bork> runaans> terminus > flex item. I tended to go to kraken towards the end of the run for final item.

Ignite, flash.

The gameplay is basically just farm, poke, and wait for the support to do something useful. Then all in. No pussy-footing around. You’re all in. You live or die. Drop the ignite ASAP. Dying is fine as long as you take someone with you.

Once you have runaans, just be at fights and ult. Position well away from toplaners and junglers, ideally you spawn on top of the ADC and support and kill them.

I never duo and I bet I saw a competent jungle gank for me less than 10 times. So in my mind this was a complete solo carry. The build cooks. I checked the dps in practice tool. It’s identical to crit, with the added attack speed. So while your attacks aren’t big chunks, you will be able to walk and attack much more smoothly. Better kiting.

In my mind, it feels considerably better than the standard crit build. Which I tried in a few games because the crit build is objectively better for beefy teams as you can buy LDR or mortal reminder.

Anyway, rancid diamond player teammates aside, I really like playing Twitch. He’s in a great spot right now as far as being balanced goes. He does what you want and ADC to do and he does it really well.

He stays safe and he pumps big damage in a teamfight. The perfect ADC.

All roles should force tutorials of pre-recorded games and scenarios, or at least jungle

I’ll just go with jungle because easily more than 80% of autofilled junglers can’t jungle.

They should have 5 tutorial games with different champs and how to gank with them. Detailing lane states of all lanes at various points in the game that says “you should go here and press these buttons in this order to successfully gank a lane” and then you have to play 5 unranked games or iron games just to get the hang of how to watch the map. What objectives you should go for because you have priority.

It should also have you walk into failed ganks and explain why the gank failed.

But every lane should have tutorials like this. Full game tutorials that will unlock the role for you. How and when to split. When to recall. When to rotate.

I understand wanting to get players into the game because it’s a mobile game and people want you to play the game but there is also the game integrity.

Maybe have the tutorials be forced at platinum rank if they skip it in the beginning since iron-platinum is just a shitshow anyway.

TLDR Something needs to be done to assist people when they get autofill jungle, bare minimum

I’ve never seen it. I was just randomly thinking about it as I was watching a Zilean play the game.

Normally a champ like nautilus can’t move until the hook animation finishes.

Is he just stunned in place?
