We are getting a puppy!

Hi! We got the call yesterday that we were chosen for adding a puppy to our family! We’ll be bringing him home the week of August 10th. It is a dream dog for me, and my husband grew up with berners and is so excited to have another one, but it has been over 20 years since he’s had one.
In the upcoming month, what are some things we can do/get/get rid of to make our home as comfortable and safe as possible for him? We also have 2 young boys (almost 4 & 6) and an 8.5 year old 100lb bmd mix. Do you have any tips or tricks for the transition? Food? (Breeder starts with and suggests raw, but willing to give kibble options and get him on that if we choose) we feed our current dog NutriLife PureVida salmon and peas. Toys/“bones”? Baby gates/play pens? Vacuums (lol)? I’m aware I can ask all these questions to the breeder, and every dog is different; but I love the Reddit community for off the cuff ideas and opinions! Thank you in advance! Cannot wait to *officially* be apart of the BMD community 🖤

Stroller Question

Hello! We are going to Switzerland (Lucerne & Interlaken-as our "home bases") and Como, Italy in 2 weeks with our 3.5 and 5.5 year old kids. I have heard to not bring a side by side double stroller due to the size of doorways, but now my question is- should we bring our Uppababy Vista stroller (heavy duty, can carry more weight) or an umbrella type travel stroller (Zoe)? Please let me know! Also if you've done this type of trip do you have any tips?
