playing guzheng with long gel nails on one hand?

hi! i found a guzheng secondhand for a good price i think? and i really want to buy and start playing, but i have gel nails. my left hand i super short so i can play instruments like i have a banjo and zhongruan i can play with my nails and my right hand length is like in the picture. so i'm just wondering if having my right hand have long nails will be an issue when playing? or if it won't really matter and maybe will act almost as finger picks? because when i play banjo i just pick with my nails instead of using finger picks. i really want to pick up the guzheng but i love my nails and don't want to get rid of them. advice or thoughts are welcome! thanks :)

asymmetrical set for playing an instrument? :)

i'm a long gel kind of girl, this is my current set to get an idea on the length i like to go for. i have a new instrument i want to get into and i have been able to play some instruments with my nails, but now i really need to have the left hand short.

i really love an asymmetrical look and mixing stiletto and coffin together. but i've never had one hand short or had short nails in a long time ahaha.

so i was looking for some thoughts from some long nail instrument players or just opinions on having one hand short. i have a design thought out for the nails i want to do but i'm not sure if on the left hand i should go just short and round as possible or maybe try to get a short coffin and stiletto to work. the right hand would be same kind of shapes as my set now maybe just a bit shorter.

▲ 15 r/lace

hi, just ripped the lace trim on the bottom of one of my favorite skirts :( anyone have any recommendations for a technique or kind of stitch or something i can try to use to fix it and not make it look horrible? i'm not very good at sewing but have hand stitched some small rips before but never with lace and it's in the front of the skirt so i want to try to make it look kind of ok, i just don't want to make it worse :( any recommendations are appreciated thanks
