Does anyone think it's messed up that Katara never received a new betrothal necklace from Aang?
With the new movie being released, we were able to see the concept art of her pregnant. However, there's no concept art of her with a new betrothal necklace or anything showing she's actually married to Aang.
Even in the Legend of Korra, Katara is shown wearing her mother's betrothal necklace. I think this really shows a lack of respect for Katara's culture and that the creators only see her a vessel and tool for Aang. We see what she does for Aang throughout the movie but not what he does for her.
