Solo travelling recommendations for grief recovery & spirituality

My bf died 6mo ago. It has been a profound loss and it eventually led me to deepen my spiritual practices. I’ve decided to travel to Spain (Barcelona, Valencia, and Seville) for 5 weeks in June & July to support my healing. I’m looking for any recommendations that would support this. I’m mainly looking to relax, be mentally stimulated, read and write, relax by the beach, and overall just try to find joy and meaning in life again and expand my perspective. I’m not really into partying but I do enjoy sitting at a cozy bar once in a while. I do like meeting other locals and travellers but more so in a chill atmosphere. Please let me know if any recommendations.

Note: I’m not looking to do the Camino at this time.

Thank you!

characters with similar stories as ms saeki from Kafka on the shore

just read Kafka and it truly changed me. my bf died 6 months ago and I found so much comfort in ms saeki’s story and all the spiritual elements of the forest city. when I suddenly lost my love, I know I felt desperate to find him again, and it felt very unrelatable so I felt held by this book. I know I could just pick up another murakami book but I’m specifically looking for something that would scratch the same itch if that’s possible so I wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions. Thank you.
