Healing up ok, and so straight!! but very very sore still. This op is definitely not for the faint hearted and if it's only mild pain your bunion is giving you atm then I'd say do not do it yet!! I thought I'd be back at work after 2 weeks, looks like that won't be happening...

In a few weeks I'll have an Xray to check the bone is healing OK, but seems to be getting there.

So far, so sore - not so bad lying down but up on it is painful - brufen and cocodomol I'm hoping will keep it at bay. Seeing my toe that straight is already blowing my mind! Will follow up in two weeks when the dressing is off and Xray is done.

This is under the NHS in the very east of England and the care I received was incredible.
