Best island in December?

My husband and I want to go on a very quick getaway in December. It needs to be a direct flight from Washington DC due to the timing. My husband has never been to the Caribbean, I’ve been to a handful of islands as a kid. Which is the best one for relaxing, good weather, easy to swim in water for someone who has never been?

Keep me in check - does this work?

Hi all! I’ve been doing a ton of research for our honeymoon to Paris and Strasbourg. We’re going in September (19-27) and I just need people to keep me in check on our potential outline, knowing we will be making sure to just wander and explore leisurely whenever possible

Also - yes, we do not have the Louvre in our plans. We like art and I appreciate all that’s in the louvre but it’s just too massive and too much for our limited time in Paris.

We’re planning to go on our honeymoon to Paris the end of September. Our ideal plan has us in Paris for 4-5 days, and then another city for a few days, before returning to our flight leaving out of Paris. What’s another city, accessible by train, that we could go to? We don’t want the train trip to eat up an entire day of travel, so ideally only 3ish hours away. We want a vibe very different from Paris. Once in the new city, we want to have one home base so we have the same bed to sleep in each night. One idea we had was the Strasbourg region but very open to any ideas and suggestions!
