Guidance

Hi everyone,

I did a ux design certificate recently and I am still looking for an internship. I want to make UX researcher as my main profile and I was wondering if combining a sociology degree will put me ahead of other candidates in the field or nah?

I read in the world economic forum future of jobs that skills like analytical thinking, creative thinking, empathy are growing skills when seeking for employees now.

Because of AI literally exploding human centric work is becoming more valuable.

I guess I just want to get opinions from people in the field, what do you guys think would this benefit me ? I will start my degree soon.

Need to let this shit out.

So I am 22 and I was abroad for the last 4 years but due to extreme mental health issues leading to severe depression, anxiety and suicidal tendencies I left my degree and came back to India. I was also performing horribly in the courses. I have wasted close to 2 cr of my parents money. I am still not okay, I get thoughts of suicide and extreme anxiety almost every other day.

Thoughts of being a failure and behind all of my peers. I can't help but hate myself because of everything that went down. My parents don't show it but ik they have reservations about me now, and I am not blaming them I would too ( I kinda lied alot and his my feelings and ended up wasting more time) but it hurts. I feel guilty even tho my therapist has helped me see that only part of it was my fault ( not telling anyone sooner). I get in freeze mode thinking I can't do shit and will only end up disappointing my parents and family further.

I decided to give cuet and since it began well after my

12th i had less to no idea about how it's done. I ended up taking subjects I didn't have in 12th but that's okay I don't mind going to AUD or JNU , never had my heart set on DU. But now my dad is saying he would prefer I went to this private university behind my house. Again, I can't blame them for being cautious now but then why tf did I give cuet. I am done with 3 tests and have 2 on 28th , I am still preparing sincerely for it but I have lost the motivation. Here's to a little hope that he agrees to send me if I get into a good University.

Thanks for reading. Pray that I don't end myself before redeeming myself.

Ps. No sympathy required just had to let this out somewhere.

Quick doubt clarification

Everyone who has given one test until now, how many passport size photographs did you carry with you??

Also required things - 1. Admit card. 2. Passport size photographs 3. Clear water bottle.

Is that all?
