Clearance Pricing

Apologies, but I'm not well-versed in Dr. Squatch.

My local Wal-Mart had Golden Glory and Freedom Fresh 5oz bricks on clearance for $3/brick - there was probably still a full display of each.

Are these just poor sellers, or what's up with the clearance? How low will 5oz bricks usually go in terms of clearance? I know $3 is already a decent price but I'm not sure if it's worth going back and buying more up lol, especially since I love the smell of FF. (by the way, is that a yearly release?)

KState Diecast Shutting Down

Just got this email from KState Diecast at 1:23am EST. Not really sure what to make of it. I never purchased from them directly aside from a single time. Will this be a profound loss for the diecast community? Any fond/not-so-fond memories of them?

Edit: Just realized the photo is abysmal lol. Here's the email:

"Dear Valued Customers,

After much thought and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to begin winding down K State Diecast.

This was not an easy decision. We have truly enjoyed serving the diecast community and are incredibly grateful for the friendships, relationships, and support we've received over the years. Thank you for making K State Diecast a part of your collecting journey.

Over the coming weeks, we will continue fulfilling all outstanding orders and begin offering our remaining inventory for sale. If you've been considering adding a few more pieces to your collection, we encourage you to watch for upcoming announcements as we work through our final inventory.

To ensure a smooth transition, our longtime drop ship partner, Plan B Sales, has agreed to fulfill all remaining customer preorders. We have worked closely together for more than a decade, and their familiarity with our inventory and preorder process will help ensure customers continue to receive the same dependable service throughout this transition.

This decision wasn't made because of any one event, but rather the combination of changes we've seen in the hobby over the past several years. Continued shipping cost increases, rising costs of doing business, and the shift toward live-selling platforms—with many new releases being purchased almost immediately for resale—have changed the experience of running K State Diecast. What began as something we truly loved has gradually become more challenging and less enjoyable, and we've decided this is the right time to close this chapter.

We are incredibly thankful for every customer who has supported us and shared our passion for the hobby over the years. We sincerely appreciate every order you've placed, every conversation we've shared, and every friendship we've made along the way. Your loyalty has meant more to us than words can express.

Thank you again for your support and for being part of our journey.

With sincere appreciation,

K State Diecast"

Driver Video Redemptions?

I saw an email that listed driver video redemptions for points, but when I go to the website, I don't see anything. Were these limited quantities or am I missing something?

Most Egregious FOX Moments?

With the FOX portion of the broadcast schedule over, I've been thinking about some of FOX's more egregious failures. What are you guys' picks for some of FOX's worst production moments?

For me, I'm torn between the missed Kyle Larson rollover at Talladega I (2019) or that one dirt Truck race where they missed a rollover there too.

Hello! I'm planning on heading to RFK Racing's Fan Day this year. I live ~2.5 hours away from the shop and was curious if anyone had insight on how previous years have gone. I've followed NASCAR for ~15 years but haven't actually put in the effort to attend one until my girlfriend decided that Keselowski was her guy last year, lol.

But yeah, any advice would be helpful. How fast do autograph wristbands go? Is there a decent bit to do there throughout the day? When would you recommend arriving? Appreciate it!
