They are literally Playing around with us, I strongly feel they are messing around with something.
This year some student had filed a lawsuit against IIM Mumbai for not giving him a LI call him even after getting 99.5 + percentile and the court ordered them to be transparent, and that is when they called for second round of PI.
Based on my assumption and analysis, this might be the reason -
Since they don’t normalise the CAT Scores, and other things are not very transparent while giving final offers till last year, it was okay as they weren’t accountable.
But this year they prolly have to submit an audited copy of the entire process with full transparency to the court as well, which is causing them the delay as they have to figure out a rationale method for rolling out offers without any bias.
PI data lost is definitely not true, bcoz they won’t write it In a book or something to get lost, everything will be updated in the portal directly.
So most probable reason might be this, But One thing is this IIM is literally not being professional.
But this much of delay will definitely push a lot of students either into settling for lower colleges than they deserved or loose lakhs of rupees.
