Captured some fresh on-ground footage of the ongoing 4-laning work on NH-347BG (Indore–Khandwa–Burhanpur Highway).
The most challenging and scenic phase—bypassing the tricky curves of Choral and Bai Gram—is moving ahead rapidly with the construction of twin tunnels through the Vindhyachal hill ranges.
Key Project Highlights:
Highway Route: NH-347BG (Connecting Indore to Khandwa, Burhanpur, and Edlabad/Maharashtra)
Major Engineering Feat: 2 major tunnels being bored to eliminate steep ghat ascents and sharp accident-prone turns around the Choral ghat section.
Impact: Once operational, this bypass will drastically cut down travel time between Indore, Khandwa, and Burhanpur while ensuring smooth, all-weather connectivity for heavy commercial transport and daily commuters.
