Hello all. I'm looking forward to applying to HKU this year, and I had a question regarding the scholarships.

As far as I know, 4A* only gets half-tuition, and 5A* gets full. I only had 4 subs in my GCE A-Levels, but I did have some decent awards, a bronze at last year's IEO and two bronzes at the IEO 2025 Winter challenge (one for individual, and one for business case). Also heading to this year's rendition soon.

I was wondering if they would consider these, and if it would allow me to secure a full tuition scholarship?

I know there are many other posts on this topic, but I couldn't figure out how heavily such awards are considered.
