Please help me decide and tips for a new convert.

Hi everyone, Sorry its going to be a long one. Me and my partner have finally decided to go EV for our next car. We have decided to get a used model to test the waters rather than purchasing anything brand new. The top recommendations I keep seeing is the model Y (our budget will allow the 22-23 rwd models) and Geely Ex5 or add slightly more for the 25 SL7. The SL is my favourite out of the bunch and even the Geely checks all our boxes at the moment and they are mostly better equipped than the Y but after some research, the convenience of charging and after sales service of the Tesla seems unparalleled.

The car will mostly do A to B trips (Work and back) and occasional weekend outings. I barely do 40kms a day during weekdays. We dont do trips outside the state (I live in SA) and even the places we frequently visit for a long drive have few charging stations en route. No kids atm just me and my partner and we are both going to share the car.

We are also planning to install a home charger in a few months but until then, I would be charging in public chargers once or twice every week. How feasible would it be like this? Don't mind the wait but I still have some concerns with charging infrastructure in Adelaide.

Also would like some info on maintenance. My Ice car atm costs me around $600 just on regular service yearly. Plus the seperate cost of items that might need repairing/ replacing. In your experience, how often would stuff needs replacing? Have you guys gone through loads of tyres? Some used cars have around 40k kms, so would the battery still have >90% health? And will the warranty on the car and battery transfer to the new owner when resold?

Its going to be a long term purchase (atleast 4 or 5 years). I am happy to take any further recommendation and tips as we are aiming for a purchase next month. Thank you in advance.
