craft/golf bartender to high volume

Hi guys, so I started out doing banquet bartending, bartending at restaurants for high-end country clubs and a craft bar. I do well with these environments and perform well as a bartender but with these environments you have to be a speedy bartender but the technicality of the drink is more important. I just got hired at a high volume(specifically 21) bar (nightclub) as a bottle girl/bartender, my manager after training said they’d rather keep me as a bottle girl for the time being and develop my skills for nightlife bartending. It made me feel bad as bartender but genuinely I’m not used to speed at this high of capacity and my free pour skills lack anymore since we’re only allowed jiggers. I know my counts but when it’s that high of volume it’s hard to be consistent

Anyone barely making it

Hi guys I am a cocktail waitress in Vegas at a bar at Aria my job has barely been busy, I’m hoping for convention season it will pick up! Anyone else job struggling because of the current economy? I also bartend at a golf course but since it’s summer season I have not been getting shifts. I was just wondering does anyone know of any service jobs currently hiring? Or any open auditions/hiring fairs?
