Dealing with antisocial behaviour

I live in a council flat in Hackney. Almost every day for at least a month, this group of men has been showing up and sitting on the plant bed underneath my bedroom window. They show up around 3pm and stay there until at least 9-10pm playing music on speakers, drinking, and smoking weed (which goes pretty much directly into my bedroom window). They don’t live in the block afaik. Contacted the council, who said they can’t do anything except after 9pm from Thursday-Sunday. I’ve asked them to move, of course (there’s a park around the corner that’s always empty), but they basically just ignore me or double down. Phoned 101 recently, and was told to just keep calling in every time they show up (i.e., every day) but it just feels like a waste of time. Has anyone (successfully) dealt with a similar situation? Or does anyone have a potential (legal) solution? I’m at my wit’s end. I wfh and live with my parents so my bedroom is my only option, but I now have to choose between sitting in a sauna (if I close my window) and sitting in a bong (if I leave it open). Thanks.

ETA: My mum was born and raised in Hackney in the 70s, I’ve lived here all my life and have no intention of leaving any time soon (despite what the council may want). I have no problem with weed, nor with loud music - but blaring music so loud that it wakes me up from an afternoon nap on a weekday even with my windows shut is ridiculous.

Tingling feeling after nerve flossing

Whenever I would do RDLs (or similar movements in my daily life) I would get this pinching feeling at the inner back of my knee that I assumed was related to the sciatic nerve. Not painful, but not something I wanted to ignore. I heard nerve flossing could help and saw a video from Squat University where someone with the same situation as myself saw improvements from nerve flossing. Tried the exercise shown in the video and since then I’ve been experiencing a tingling sensation down my thigh and the back of my calf. Still not painful, but irritating and impossible to ignore. I’m assuming I should stop with the nerve flossing, but does anyone have any idea what might have happened here? Also, should I avoid weight training until the feeling goes away?

What my grad job applications looked like as a final-year university student

For context: I was applying mostly to SWE/product roles within the banking industry, plus some consulting and investment management roles as a back up (probably not a good move - I wasn’t *actually* interested in them, so my motivation to follow through with the applications was low, hence the 9 missed deadline). I come from a humanities background with no relevant internship experience (did a few weeks in ESG research - other than that, I was mostly relying on my student society roles + work I did for my department). The first offer I got was tech consulting for a Big 4 company, then a few months later I got offered a SWE role at an investment bank with way higher pay + signing bonus.

Hope I’m not getting ahead of myself here 😅

I’m a university student graduating this summer and starting a graduate role in a bulge bracket investment bank. Salary is £50k, it’s in their tech division so I expect bonuses won’t be more than a few grand. I haven’t been allocated to a specific team or role yet, though I come from a non-technical (humanities) background so I’m probably going to be put in a non-coding role like product management.

Although I’m not itching to be a millionaire or anything, I would like to own a home within the next few years, and I would also like to have a child so being able to afford childcare would be a plus (lol). The main issue is that even once I save up enough for a down payment (won’t be an issue as I’ll be living with my parents, rent-free), I have to be earning a lot in order to be able to take out (and afford) a mortgage on the average house in my area as a single person (I don’t see this changing) unless I go the shared ownership route.

So it seems like my only option is to become a HENRY as soon as possible 😃. The question is - how? Do I stick to PM? Does it have a high enough earning potential? Pivot into IB/AM? Give up and aim for shared ownership? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
