saw a staff member checking fares in the first car and shouting at a lady who just made it on the train and didn’t get to tap. he made her get off and tap and then shouted at her to stay off the train and wait for the next one. she had a monthly pass. felt so bad for her as she was profusely apologizing and looked terrified. do monthly pass holders need to tap every time? I feel like the messaging and enforcement are both unclear.
