I just finished The Last Letter, and I can confidently say it was one of the most unforgettable books I’ve read. I expected it to be emotional, but I never imagined the plot twists would leave me completely speechless. Every time I thought I knew where the story was headed, it surprised me in the best way.

What I loved most was the writing style,
it was beautiful, heartfelt, and so easy to get lost in. The story flowed naturally, making it impossible to put the book down. The characters felt incredibly real, and their relationships were written with so much depth and sincerity.
Ella was such a strong and admirable character, and I absolutely adored her twins. They brought so much warmth, humor, and light to the story that it was impossible not to love them. Their interactions made the emotional moments hit even harder.

This book completely captured my heart. It made me laugh, hope, and eventually cry. It’s a story about love, grief, healing, and finding the strength to keep going even after unimaginable loss. If you’re looking for a book that will keep you emotionally invested from beginning to end, The Last Letter is one I highly recommend.

I finally finished The Song of Achilles, and overall, I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
What I loved most about this book was its storytelling. The pacing and world-building drew me in from the beginning, and I found myself genuinely invested in the characters and their journey. Even though I was already familiar with the myth, the author’s writing made the story feel intimate and engaging.
The reason I didn’t give it a full five stars is because I went into the book already knowing how it would end. Since so many readers described it as absolutely heartbreaking, I kept waiting for that overwhelming emotional payoff. I expected to be in tears by the final chapters, but that moment never came for me.
I don’t think the ending was poorly written
it was beautiful, bittersweet, and fitting. I simply didn’t experience the emotional impact that so many others did, and I can’t help but wonder if being spoiled beforehand lessened the effect.
Even so, I really enjoyed the experience. It’s a beautifully written novel with compelling characters, and I’m glad I finally read it. While it didn’t leave me sobbing, it definitely left me appreciating the story it set out to tell.
