Wait time after weight loss

Wait time after weight loss

How long should I wait after losing 80 lbs to get consults for a tummy tuck? I have had 6 C-sections and have lost 80 lbs since last August. My last Csection was July 2025 (we had a stillbirth so I’m not caring for an infant 😞). Photos to show what my body currently looks like.

A Journey with No End

This health journey has been positive overall!

Tirzepatide has changed my life! I used to think losing weight was the goal and my goal weight was the finish line. Maybe it’s because I’m older and wiser…🤪…or I’m able to think more clearly, but I now know this journey has no end. My health goals and what I did to get here are all lifelong. So this is a before and ongoing post!

My NSV’s are more energy, better eating habits, better sleeping habits, and more confidence in general. I love lifting weights (which feels weird to say). I went from 2XL size 18 down to S size 4 (also weird to say).

Struggles that I have: loose skin on my stomach and my thighs…my face looks a bit older (but I am a bit older so there’s that). I have found new things to dislike about myself.

Here’s to continuing the journey and discovering more beauty within myself.

Started Tirz in Oct ‘25

I lost 11 lbs following a keto diet starting last August, and I added Tirz in mid-October. I found this group to be helpful…I found Glapp and Pomegranate Health here…both have been and continue to be helpful!

Last July I had my 6th c-section…yes, 6 C-sections…I’ve had 6 live births…2 stillbirths and 3 miscarriages…last July was a stillbirth that really wrecked me. I felt myself spiraling, so I decided to get healthier for my kids. That has slowly changed into getting healthier for myself.

I started with keto and doing the machines at the gym. Then decided I wanted to build muscle, so in January I added whole food carbs (that’s a journey all on its own). I started going to a personal trainer in February, and that was life changing! I’m in a body recomp phase now.

Weight loss has brought good things and uncovered some very hard things. I’m grateful for the journey!
