Tier list of the heavy squad leaders

Tier list of the heavy squad leaders

I will be ranking the leaders at their peak with 5 talents and max level

  1. Lt. Julius Mass: the gigachad, he himself surpases a scorcher as a meatshield with his massive HP amount and 80% damage reduction. His last talent allows his squad to stay alive for as long as HE is alive; which means you can just smoke him and let his squad of immortal heavies tanking for a while. Let's not forget his most unique ability: Teleportation; we've never seen such thing in this game before, you could send the squad to the back to distract the long range defences in operations or destroy powercells for energy for example, which is so convenient.

  2. Meatshield: Replaced by Julius Mass, he's in this tierlist just because i think his design is a work of art, pulled straight out of a madmax movie.

  3. Sgt. Torstein BjØrnsen: eradicates the threat mines pose to your fragile DPS troops, shockmines are useless against the squad, it's members gain 5% damage increase with each mine cleared along with a temporary 30% speed boost, the heavies gain a shield equal to the detonated mine; shields let troops survive high damage shots and since every base is riddled with them it'll keep alive for a while. Clears mines, and provides durable distractions during battle, one of my favourite leaders.

  4. Sgt. Boomaroo Bruce: The heavies are just here to tank enemy shots, not deal damage they have to business being involved in DPS role. The leader main gimmick is that he increases the max DPS heavies can deal.... for his squad only; which is laughable considering how every other troop (except cryos) surpases them at the role of dealing damage even with Bruce's boost.

  5. HV-CMD-002: provides a 200% speed boost with 25% damage reduction, I guess you could command them to the exposed side of the troops you're protecting, can't think of any other benefits to this ability.

Grenadiers get so much undeserved hate, they're still great at level 80

Shoutout for u/Elk-Assassin-8x6 for the great troop combo

What's a good troop build to use grenadiers?

I'm well aware of the amount of slander this troop receives in this subreddit and i don't care and personally i prefer them over lasers, i like their wide damage area and their ability to clear mines, I'm level 80 with max level grens, what's the best way to use them?
