Custom Vulture Droid MOC and 91st Recon "Sgt. Scramble" (Lore in description) MMM

Originally the leader of an elite 91st Recon squad, Sgt. Scramble became a solo operator, breaking away from the clone brotherhood. During a covert mission they were spotted by a flock of Vulture Droids who gunned down his entire squad. The sole survivor became obsessed with this trauma swearing to create something to hide from all droids.

He now wears a unique armorweave pauldron featuring striking, geometric patterns designed to act as camouflage, through spoofing targeting sensors. Though Kaminoan testing yielded mixed results, Scramble swears by it. The 91st command tolerates his lone-wolf methods because his precision and mission success rates since then are undeniably high. While he is widely avoided as a bad omen by the infantry, he does occasionally operate alongside Jedi Masters Yoda and Kit Fisto. Understanding his trauma through the Force, they grant him the autonomy he needs to operate effectively on their joint missions.

Part of the MMM (Minor Minifigure Modifications, now Miniature M.O.C. Modules)

What do you think on my take on a minifig scale Vulture droid? I've always felt official LEGO ones are oversized.

Comment your thoughts:)

What's a piece/minifig from your childhood collection that you only realised now that is surprisingly expensive?

For me it's this glow in the dark octopus from an agents set!

Submissions should be pieces that are not obvious to be highly valuable (like rare, one-off star wars minifigures)

Best way to store sets?

I've taken apart some builds to bigger chunks so they could be stored in these ikea containers, however, they still take up a bit too much space this way. I have all my pieces sorted based on type (eg. 2 x 4 Plates, 1 x 1 tiles etc.) and that's very compact, but i have some builds that are slightly modified and would like to keep it that way for the next time i pulled them out (could be years).

Do you take apart all your sets entirely for deep storage?

MMM (Minor Minifigure Modifications) ARC Trooper Feathers

A seasoned veteran of the 327th, ARC Trooper Feathers is a reflection of the toll of the never ending Outer Rim sieges. Deployed from one meat-grinder to the next, his mind eventually snapped, turning him mad and unpredictable. He proudly displays large feathers on his helmet, which resulted in his brothers spreading rumours that he went nuts after taking an arrow to the dome. ARC Trooper Feathers can often be found talking to himself or having deep conversations with severed B1 droid heads. However, when asked about his erratic behavior, Commander Bly swiftly dismisses all doubts, stating that he only cares about results.

MMM (Minor Minifigure Modifications) Admiral Ackbar

A very simple tweak for an already gorgeous figure sw0247. Lego decided to include reddish brown, a more common colour for the hands. While cheaper, it doesn't match as well to his skin colour, I feel like dark orange should have been the original pick.

MMM (Minor Minifigure Modifications) Heavy Shock trooper

While technically under the coruscant guard, these small squads of shocks troopers are not relegated to police or prison guard duty. These heavy troopers went on important outer rim missions under the command of Chancellor Palpatine himself. They fought beside Shaak Ti as a formality only, as they were ruthless and cold, qualities that couldn't be associated with the aforementioned Jedi master. These shock troopers were heavily armed and armoured, being seasoned veterans of the clone wars, their combat effectiveness rivalled that of the 501st.

MMM (Minor Minifigure Modifications) Starkiller

The very first in my new series MMM: Starkiller.

While the original sw0181 Starkiller is a true og for fans of unleashing incredible force powers, the design is quite outdated in many aspects: no back or leg printing, a light bluish gray lightsaber hilt and a hair piece #3901 that was used by many figures in the 2000s.While the face and torso print feels truly starkiller for me, the hair doesn't resemble a buzzcut in my opinion. Lego doesn't really have a buzzcut hairpiece at all due to obvious limitations. Some NBA characters would have this solved by printing dots straight on top of the head piece. I solved this problem by using the hair piece #79688 featured on Clones, Jango, Viktor Krum, Bruce Wayne and many over city figures. The shaping captures the vibe for me much better than other pieces would.

After this upgrading the lightsaber hilt to the metallic silver one and giving him force lightning is a no-brainer to get an iconic Starkiller look.

Would you implement these changes?

How would you have designed him differently?

What are some figs you think are in need of a slight tweak?
