Looking for heirloom amigurumi testers

Looking for heirloom amigurumi testers

Hi!

I wanted to share the Instagram for my cousin:
Stitches by Moonlight. She makes adorable amigurumi animals and writes stories with her 9yo daughter about their adventures in Moonlit Hollow 🥹

She’s getting started making patterns.

She’s giving away a small mushroom pattern and is looking for testers for her first character, Max the Mouse.

She’s not on Reddit, but I told her how amazingly talented this community is, and she asked me to share.

Please check out her page and DM me if you’d be interested in testing out her patterns.

Thanks!

Paid Zoom interview for academic study of regular NPR listeners (U.S., 18+)

EDIT: There was an issue with the survey where it was disqualifying people who should not have been! I sincerely apologize and am certainly embarrassed.

The specific question that was the issue had to do with whether you listened at set times (i.e., in the car, in the morning, etc) or randomly. The filter on that question has been removed.

Full disclosure: Because of the nature of the study (interviews), the population has to be super specific. So, we are more interested in talking to people who have more of a listening "schedule" or "routine." Not to twist the survey results, but to make sure that everyone we interview is similar in terms of the variables by which we're defining the population.

So, if you are still interested, and you had selected a 4 or higher on that scale, please resubmit. Again, I am sincerely embarrassed by and apologize for the inconvenience.

Hi!

I'm one of three university marketing professors doing a research study on how regular NPR listeners experience their relationship with NPR, including their thoughts and feelings about membership appeals and pledge drives.

We're independent academic researchers, and we are in no way affiliated with NPR, PBS, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, or any station, program, podcast, or affiliate. We are not fundraising, selling anything, or collecting donations.

This is an academic study, and the results will be shared only through peer-reviewed publications.

What's involved: A single one-on-one interview over Zoom or Microsoft Teams, about 60–90 minutes, at a time you choose.

  • It will be a relaxed conversation about your experiences as a listener (there are no right or wrong answers).
  • With your permission, the interview will be recorded so we can transcribe it. Recordings will be deleted after transcription, and transcripts are de-identified.

Compensation: A $20 digital gift card after you complete the interview.

Qualifications: U.S. adults (18+) who listen to NPR regularly.

  • The link associated with this post is to a short eligibility survey.

Participation is voluntary and confidential. This study has been reviewed and approved by a university IRB (EXMT-B-26-SUM-2).

If you're interested, please fill out the survey linked to this post. Please also feel free to post any questions to this thread or to DM me.

Thanks!
