I built a map that aggregates events happening in Vienna
I've always found it surprisingly difficult to figure out what's actually happening in Vienna. Events are spread across events.at, Eventbrite, Resident Advisor, the City of Vienna, individual venue websites, etc.
So I spent the last few days building wienwasgeht.at.
It pulls events from different sources, puts them into a common format and shows them on a map. The idea is pretty simple: if I want to know what's happening today, I don't want to check 10 different websites first.
The focus is mainly on events happening today, with tomorrow available as well. You can filter by music, nightlife, culture and sports.
There are no accounts, ads or cookie banners, and the location feature runs entirely in the browser.
It's still very much a side project, so I'd be interested in hearing what you think. Especially if there are event sources or venues in Vienna that I should add.
