Today I was able to machine the first prototype of the soon to be made upgrade clips that work on OG Max Mad co pens.

I made a few small tweaks from the printed prototype per a few recommendations.

This First milled alu prototype is proof of concept/ for fitment testing. I’m Pleased to say they fit perfectly, and the ergonomics of clip are great in pocket. All the fixturing worked perfectly. The next version will be 6al-4V Grade 5 titanium.

I’m sending out a few of these aluminum clips for testing/carry - and hope to make the titanium ones in August after user feedback and as machine capacity opens up.

Changes from original printed version:
Clip OAL shortened from 2.00” to 1.80”
Clip point geometry change (very slight)
Counterbore shifted for thread depth
