I downloaded the Ubuntu 26.04 ISO image and tried to install it alongside Windows. However, during the drive partitioning step, the option to install alongside Windows does not appear. The only available option is to format the partition and do a clean install. This is not the first time this has happened. Unfortunately, it wasn't feasible because the biggest issue was system lag and freezing, especially while editing in LibreOffice. Creating folder shortcuts on cloud/virtual drives (OneDrive, in my case) doesn't work. I tested it in my personal folder and it worked fine.
How do I create a shortcut to a folder on the desktop? I didn't find that option. Unless I'm mistaken, it used to be there when you right-clicked.

I have a laptop that constantly reaches 100% disk usage. On Ubuntu GNOME, I always get this message when the system is under heavier load: “XXX is not responding.” I’ve been using Ubuntu Unity 26.04 and it has been working well. However, I’ve noticed that the system is not using the integrated NVIDIA graphics card. What do you think? Should I stick with it? And what about Kubuntu?
