Namor recommendations?

Hi all!
My late father always told me that he loved reading Sub-Mariner comics when he was a kid. I try to connect with him in my hobbies, even now that he's not around, and I've been enjoying a lot of comic books lately.

I can find Namor reading order guides and what-not, but I wanted to come here and ask what books you'd recommend as essential, or just your favorite issues?
I've been looking at the late sixties/early seventies comics--since that's where I think my dad would have been reading--and I was thinking of just starting with the 72 issue ongoing from around then. Is that a fun read? Are there any runs or issues I should stay away from?

I started reading Flash Volume 6 at issue 14, as part of my reading a bunch of the All-in initiative's series. I'm pretty new to comics. I dabbled in Batman for a while with some great recommendations from the community, (Year One, Long Halloween, Court of Owls, Hush) and I've been branching out to other heroes I have an interest in. Superman, Nightwing, and, of course the Flash.

I've always been a little captivated by Flash--never watched the show, it always seemed a bit... well, not my taste--and these issues have been a wild ride for me. At first, I was charmed, but unimpressed. The writing style was a bit too "he's right behind me, isn't he?" at times, but it was tinged with a sincerity that I couldn't help being drawn in by.

Bad Moon Rising was a trip-and-a-half, and captivated me in a way I haven't been captivated in a while. The greater multiversal, cosmic concepts kind of escaped me, but I loved the themes of duality, duty, obsession, and trauma. Especially, I adored the kind of quiet horror, bordering on eldritch.

I mostly skimmed the KO stuff. As much as I love Impulse, I kind of found the whole thing confusing and underwhelming, typical large-scale event fare from what I could tell. Issue #31 seemed to really pick up, though, and I greatly enjoyed it.

I'm now waiting for issue #32, as I'm reading on the Infinite app, and thirsting for more. I really, really love Wally and his family, but I'm not exactly sure where to go for more of what I like. I'm thinking about either just starting post-crisis and taking a tour through the character's history from there, but I'm also interested in Geoff Johns' run, since I'm really enjoying his work on Teen Titans right now. Any suggestions would be really appreciated!
