I’m confused between two options and need some honest advice:

Option 1: BCom with Business Analytics at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce, Pune

Option 2: BCom Programme at PGDAV College (DU)

Which one is better overall in terms of college life, crowd, and future opportunities?

Also, one major concern about Symbiosis:

Classes have already started around 2 months ago. If I join now, will I be able to cover the syllabus properly, or will it be very difficult to catch up?

Would really appreciate genuine opinions from people who know about these colleges.

Option 1: Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce, Pune – B.Com

Semester 1 subjects:

• Financial Accounting

• Costing

• HRM

• Economics (VSC)

• Political Science (IKS)

• Geography (OE)

• Compulsory English

• Business Mathematics & Statistics / Computer Applications

Option 2: PGDAV College, University of Delhi – B.Com Programme

My situation:

• Budget is not an issue.

• PGDAV is close to my home in Delhi.

• Most of my friends are joining DU, while I'll be completely new in Pune.

• I plan to pursue ACCA alongside my B.Com.

• I may also go for CFA or an MBA later, so I want to keep all options open.

If you were in my place, which one would you choose and why?

I'm mainly looking for advice on:

- ACCA compatibility

- Academics

- Internships

- Placements

- College life

- Networking

- Long-term career opportunities

Would really appreciate honest opinions, especially from SCAC Pune, DU, or ACCA students.

Hey everyone,

I have applied for Phase 3 admission at Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce (SCAC), Pune.

My 12th percentage is 84.8% and I have applied for all B.Com / related commerce courses in the first merit list of Phase 3.

Does anyone have an idea:

- Is there any chance in the first merit list of Phase 3 with 84.8%?

- What were the approximate cutoffs in previous lists for B.Com / B.Com (Hons)?

- Should I keep backup options or wait for SCAC?

Any help from seniors or current students would be really appreciated 🙏🏻
