Could iPhone Fold replace your Mini?

I see a lot of posts and rumors around the upcoming Mini 8, but has anyone thought about the possibility the Fold or its successors may take its place in the market?

With a nearly 7.8" screen and 4:3 dimensions if the Fold is actually good I could totally see it eliminating the need for a Mini altogether for many. Guess time will tell.

Ecoboost vs. Hybrid highway real world MPGs?

I'm thinking about swapping my 24 XL EB AWD 4k for a newer XLT or higher trim hybrid. I do a lot of driving for work and get paid a vehicle allowance, but they don't cover fuel. I'm looking at about 40k miles on it now and can get about $25k for it. Likely looking at spending maybe up to $35k for a new rig.

My main motivation is to get something that has CoPilot360 and Sync4, but the fuel savings especially now are tempting. I've noticed though that the same spec AWD/4K hybrids don't seem to really be that much better on highway MPGs which is where I put in most of my miles. It seems that most people see better than the EPA numbers though with some claiming as high as 50mpg which I would guess is mostly city driving. At best I get about 32mpg now.

For those of you rocking a hybrid AWD/4k setup with mostly highway miles is it worth it or would you rather have the EB? I'm not terribly price sensitive, but I'm quite the tightwad sometimes and being able to pocket as much of that allowance as possible is the goal. I also won't be financing so no interest to factor in. I'm also thinking future maintenance/reliability as well as I'll put probably 30 to 40k a year on the truck.

I'm also kind of thinking about maybe driving the EB until the wheels fall off and go EV whenever Ford releases their new "$30k" EV pickup, but nobody is going to pay much for a Maverick that has 150k on it if and when that becomes a reality.
