I was just at a local vendor fair and bought a fun t-shirt. I like my t-shirts big and usually have worn XXL or XL (never "women's fit...ewwww).

Today I bought a large. I know the XL would fit better right now, but I also know that, hopefully, someday, the large will be just right.

I have NEVER bought clothes with that in mind.

It was kinda fun.

Current pair of socks are killing me!!

- took me 5 trys to just settle on a vanilla sock in self stripping yarn. Before that, I tried colorwork twice but tension was off and then tried other basic patterns but didn't like the yarns used. I was looking for the perfect dopamine hit 🤣.

- hated every minute of knitting said striped sock.

- realized after being 99% done on one sock that I had used size 1.5 instead of size 0 for the gusset and heel!! No idea how that happened.

- had frogged both socks back to before gusset increase before realized only needed to do that for 1 sock

- Decided to use that as an opportunity to learn shadow wrap heel.

- calculated when to start heel too short and now have to frog back again.

- I am about to give up on these socks and maybe socks in general!

Anybody else ever have the most challenging knitting experiences?

Is there an astrological reason for this constant cluster of errors? Is Mercury in retrograde again?

I'd prefer to blame the planets rather than myself 😉

UPDATE: spent the entire day thinking I had corrected all the mistakes! Knit a mini gusset and shadow wrap heel. Then realized I did it all backwards!

The yarn is cursed.

Frogged it all!
