It's fun and I'm having a better time after customizing the difficulty
Title is pretty much it. I adore games like Pacific Drive and Forever Skies scratches that kind of itch in an interesting way.
Security bots
Can't get anything done because of security bots. Every platform I land on, security bots. Go explore this building, wait, can't do that because security bots. Just change the name to Forever Security Bots and watch people uninstall the game.
Finding and building turbines
It said I should land on the area with the container at the construction site? I did that. Retrieved the items in the container, but the quest hasn't progressed and I have gained no knowledge of the turbines. There's still no option to research them either. Where do I find the turbines? I can see what they're trying to do, but this update has given me a lot more trouble with bugs and having to workaround the jankiness of it all.
EDIT: I just now exited the game and reloaded my save and now it's telling me to go to scan an airship wreck to find and build turbines. What the heck?
If you are having issues with the game getting laggy, delete the auto-saves that have built up
I happened to notice that I had around 30(?) auto-saves built up. I didn't do an exact count, but I deleted a bunch, all of them, and disabled the auto-save function. I just remember to save manually every so often now. It has sped up the gameplay immensely. I already have VSync disabled, I run on performance mode, and 30 fps with motion blur enabled, personally. I wonder how many other games can be improved by simply deleting unnecessary save files?
