Why were Greek Playwrights so interested in family dysfunction?

I posted this in ask a historian and got no answers, but I was curious if anyone here had any thoughts. I have read a lot of Greek tragedies, and it got me thinking about their interest in family annihilation and destruction or miasma surrounding a family unit. The Oresteia, The Oedipus Trilogy, Hippolytus, Electra, Heracles, etc.. all seem to have this interest in the destruction of the family unit often by the hands of women. I am curious about what this reflects about Ancient Greek beliefs and culture.

Why were Ancient Greek Playwrights so interested in a dysfunctional family unit?

Maybe this is all circumstantial, but I have noticed a lot of plays from ancient greece are about dysfunctional family units. The Oresteia, Antigone, The Odeipus Trilogy, Medea, Electra, Heracles, the list seems to go on. What was going on in Ancient Greece (I am presuming mostly Athens) that made so many playwrights want to make plays about the family unit being destroyed? What does this reflect of their society? Even the creation of the gods seems to revolve around a tragic family.

Chaplaincy

I'm looking into becoming a chaplain and getting my MDiv after college. Does anyone have any experience becoming a pagan chaplain if so what school did you go to/how can you discern a genuine school that focuses on pagan practice that's worth it ? I find all of the pagan specific ones to look a little sketchy, but I have also heard of people getting an MDiv through a UU.

I think a lot of you are misinterpreting what I am saying. I know that chaplaincy is inherently interfaith and I do not want to serve only pagans. I am interested in serving all people religious or non.I don't have a problem with serving Christians or other faiths. I was curious about how pagans navigated schooling in a predominantly Christian field and advice on schooling in that way. Hope this provides some clarity

Recommended Translations

What are some good translations of Irish Mythology? I currently have 3 volumes of Morgan Dailmer's duo translation books of various selected stories bc I saw them recommended by Lora O'Brien a couple of years ago. I find the translations in those books to be a little cumbersome and the formatting of the books to be hard to read (huge wide spaced text with lots of asterisks and such all over the pages). I do really like how they include their reasoning in the translations of the stories and context though. I just think some of the stories are so literally translated that they almost dont make sense.

What's your religious routine?

Hey there! I am looking to better establish a religious routine for my life bc it is something I have noted greatly improves my well being. It's very hard for me to get into routines for neurodivergent reasons lol but I am curious what y'alls' look like. Im interested in what any sort of routine looks like whether that's daily, monthly etc. and how you stay motivated in those routines.

Competitive Native Plants

Soooo someone who lived where i do before me planted chameleon plant in the yard. This is a notoriously invasive and difficult plant to kill. I am wondering if I planted a competitive plant nearby like a sunchoke if it could be overtaken. Right now my partner just cuts the heads off as soon as they show up and rips as many as he can out of the ground. Before anyone suggests, I am not going to use herbicide for a variety of reasons.
