Owned property overseas (sold 1.5 years ago) - do I qualify as FHB in Canberra? Aussie home loan said yes but Google says no...

I have not been in my job for enough time to get automatic pay point increase at the end of performance cycle and have heard I can apply for "discretionary" increase. anyone had any luck doing this / any advice?

If you've had an interview, what would it take to not be merit listed? My feeling is everyone interviewed is put on the merit list but wondering if that's broadly true.

ETA 1 - if the role is a specific job how many people are likely to be interviewed and then how many merit listed? appreciate it would be different in a bulk round

i'm wanting to be merit listed from a process but don't want this immediate job

ETA 2 - seems like I was wrong and only a small number of those interviewed get merit listed. thanks all.

Looking at doing master of second teaching either in person at UC or online at UNE (I'm mid career ). Can anyone share what their timetable is like / how many hours they do? Looking at working part time alongside.

Also any insights in how easy it is to get work with a permit to teach in the second year?
