Are the Amazon aftermarket carburetors dependable? I bought one last week and it arrives tomorrow super stoked to install it the OEM carb has a crack in the main jet tower which explains my loss of power at 45 mph and the bike refusing to go above 4k rpms

When doing a valve adjustment do I put the feeler gauge under the adjustment screw and on top of the valve or do I put it in between the rocker arm and camshaft?

1st gear everything is going fine and normal up until 4th gear once I get to 55 mph the rpms stop at 5k when I shift up to 5th they drop down to 4k and slowly the speed began to fade to 50 is this normal 98' behavior I cleaned the carb and that when I started noticing this
